What if our chart is also learning through us? In the first post of 2025, I advocate for a less conditional, more relational approach to Astrology and divination in general.
Thank you, Kristin! Sometimes I wonder if the chart asks us back what they mean, especially when I work with charts (natal or horary). Like a twin looking at another twin, trying to figure themselves out through the other.
ooh…LOVE this! I’ve often wondered if the Moirai are not only the Three Fates of myth, but also the multiple points/degrees/moirai of our chart. Like a chorus of living beings who make up our chart. But I really like this idea of the chart as being BOTH a collective of Moirai/beings AND a unity/twin. VERY Orphic.
Thank you for sharing this, Kristin! Will check out this episode as it seems very fitting to this idea of comic twin! And the idea of seeing Moirai as a CHORUS OF LIVING BEINGS that composes the chart is sooo fascinating! If you are open, let's talk more about it someday!
"What if the Sun learns about what it means to be exalted in Aries in the 10th house in your chart when you take up a leadership role at work, every time you decide to go your way at work or enjoy starting a new project?" Oh my. This resonates with my memory of Caroline Myss in her book, "Sacred Contracts": it's concept of the various personal archetypes that are a part of our psyche (there 12, of course) which are in constant connection and communication with the collective unconscious through the lens of our living. As we live and learn and transform (or not), the archetype does the same, informing the collective as well.
It's such a gorgeous article, Raimundo!! And what a way to re-conceive of our time and place of birth as a living, timeless, *interactive*, co-learning, archetypal energy. It's another way of considering our nature as "co-creators," not simply the author, but the partner of the Divine in all her mysterious guises? 💗🙏
SUCH a great post!!! ❤️ I love the perspective of chart as twin!

And also: have you hear this episode of Earl Fontainelle’s Secret History of Western Esotericism podcast? It covers a much later period (Late Antiquity) than Orphism, and is definitely NeoPlatonic, but so so interesting nonetheless. https://shwep.net/podcast/charles-m-stang-on-the-divine-double-in-late-antiquity/

This is a wonderful reminder that the chart is multi faceted 😃
Yes, Saffron! 🤩 and we are just as multi-faceted as our chart is!
Beautifully written and a fun concept and perspective to take with our own chart. Thank you Raimundo for inspiring!
This may also be Jupiter in Gemini being experimental :)
Thank you, Shawn! I'm so happy to hear that!

Hi Allison, thank you so much for your reflections! I love the "partner of the Divine" perspective! 😃
